Because with our customers’ trust, we can be the engine of a stronger, more sustainable and more vibrant Belgium. More than ever. By reinvesting in hospitals, schools, public services and local infrastructure.

 

Solid foundations

 

The real estate market bounced back in 2025, and we stepped up too. With personal advice in our offices, exclusive partnerships with Immoweb and Batibouw, and a Belgian first: the launch of the protected variable interest rate. The result: record growth in customers confidently choosing a mortgage loan with us.

As a bank-insurer, we both finance and protect our customers’ ambitions. From home insurance to pension plans. In 2025 we looked ahead together, including with an innovative pension approach. Our simulation tool gave customers a clear view of their financial outlook and opportunities. Meanwhile, the customer experience of our digital insurance offering was awarded as the best in Belgium and worldwide.

 

Meaningful innovation

 

Putting the customer first also means daring to take the lead. That’s why we launched Belfius Private: a new standard in private banking. Through Alan’s healthcare solution, we’re also investing in the wellbeing of 50,000 affiliated employees. Because innovation only matters when it’s grounded in vision, expertise and humanity. Re=Bel proves the point, growing in 2025 into one of the fastest-evolving digital investment platforms in Belgium.
